Description
Model TMPKTJ05 transition joint probe is a rugged temperature probe that features a spring strain relief at the 'cold' end of the probe that prevents pinching of the thermocouple wire that can occur in certain applications. This probe is Type K, XL with a sheath diameter of 0. 125 inch. The upper temperature guideline for thermocouple function is 1038 Celsius (1900 Fahrenheit). The probe is a standard 12' long and comes with bare wire ends.

This one worked. Second one I ordered, one from another supplier. First one was dead. Battery is supposed to last for 5 years, it's an "always on" setup. Mine first one did last the 5 years. I use this on my milling machine powered by a VFD.
