MROSupply now has Royalty Status!
For over 75-years, leading manufacturers have trusted Royal Products to help optimize machine tool performance resulting in higher productivity and greater profits. Royal’s success stems from its competency with continuous improvement and strives to be the best supplier of CNC metalworking accessories in the market.
How do they do this you ask? Answers simple, vertically integrated process. They control all the levers within their factory as they continually purchase and utilize the latest CNC turning, milling, and grinding equipment. Their team understands what it takes to make a shop successful.
Royal’s philosophy is simple – if we wouldn’t use one of our products in our own shop, then we won’t sell it. MROSupplys philosophy – Partner with those who care about their customers as much as we do!
Allow me to talk about some of Royal’s products as we dive into our MRO supply inventory below:
1. Royal ER Collets
In the machine tool industry, Collets are used for holding workpieces on machining centers such as a lathe or milling machine. Collets are composed of a spring-like material that allows the collet to expand when inserted into a tapered bore machining spindle or chuck. This expansion ensures that the collet will firmly hold onto the workpiece during the machining process.
When it comes to durability and long-term value, Royal ER Collets are in a class of their own. They're made from high-grade German steel, hardened for longevity, and sealed to protect your tooling investment.
Better than other collets on the market, Royal standard ER Collets contain 16 slots, providing a larger gripping range. And unlike some collets on the market that are sealed with silicone/rubber plugs, the collets are mechanically sealed by the rear slots terminating before the annular groove, completely blocking the path of coolant flow to the front of the collet.
This design ensures 100% coolant delivery to the tip of the cutting tool when using thru-coolant cutting tools. It also means the collets aren't subject to wear like those with silicone/rubber plugs and can operate at higher pressures without risk of failure.
2. Royal Live Centers
Royal Live Centers are the ideal product for anyone who needs to hold or support a workpiece in a lathe or other machine tool, often between the headstock and tailstock. Each Royal center is a finely crafted tool, incorporating the highest quality steels, bearings, lubricants, and seals for unparalleled accuracy, rigidity, and durability.
In addition to making top-of-the-line live centers, Royal offers our exclusive Roto-Shield coolant slinger—approved for high-pressure coolant use—which extends the bearing life by up to 300%.
This is accomplished through deflecting coolant from penetrating the center and flushing out the grease; protecting the bearing from harmful fines and dust; minimizing seal wear, and maintaining lubricity. Plus, all our centers have optimized point geometries for maximum rigidity.
All of these features come together to create an undeniably superior product at an unbeatable price.
3. Royal Dead Centers
When you need a dead center, you want it to be dead on. Using a dead center for grinding can be tricky, particularly if you're working with lower-quality centers. The trouble is that unless the center is very high quality, it won't stay centered and will deflect from the spindle's axis as you rotate it.
Royal makes dead centers designed to handle the toughest metal-grinding applications. The solid dead centers are made from ball-bearing steel, hardened for exceptional wear resistance and durability.
Royal manufactures a wide range of standard dead centers to suit most applications, including: full, half, carbide-tipped, and extended-point models. The carbide-tipped models are even better: the carbide blank is brazed into a close-tolerance socket for maximum strength and rigidity during operations.
