Allen Bradley Overload Relay, 4A Current Rating, 2 Auxiliary Contacts - 193-KB40
Keep your motor running efficiently and safely with this overload relay from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. The bimetallic device protects attached equipment from overload current and phase loss, preventing damage caused by overheating. It clips onto a contactor from the 100-K series to make a stable and shock-resistant connection. Two auxiliary contacts allow for extra connections to the coil, which makes your wiring easier. You can use this overload relay in applications such as motor starters and motor control centres.
Operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C makes it suitable for use in harsh environments
Screw terminals help you make secure electrical connections that won't be dislodged by vibration
Choice of automatic or manual reset for flexible use

How does a bimetallic overload relay work?
A bimetallic overload relay like this one includes a strip made of two metals that expand at different rates when heated. Current flows through this strip, and when it exceeds a set value the metals bend, breaking the circuit to shut off the supply to the contactor coil.
