Provide exceptional protection for machine operators by securing your guard door with the Ferrogard 440N-G02155 Magnetic Non-Contact Interlock switch, 250V ac with stainless-steel housing, by Allen Bradley Guardmaster.
This safety interlock switch is specially designed for use on machine guards and gates to limit access to hazardous areas where dangerous machinery may be in motion. When the safety guard is opened and the magnetic actuator is released from the switch the NC safety contacts will open, resulting in the immediate isolation of supply power to the machine. It offers high tolerance to misalignment with the reliability of non-contact switches to minimise downtime.
It can be mounted to fit narrow areas due to its slim design. It has durable housing made of stainless-steel to ensure that it is protected against inadvertent impacts. It has internal non-resettable overload protection on the safety contact and is environmentally sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P), making it well suited for use in wet environments. It features two active sensing faces to allow flexibility of mounting options.
This Ferrogard 440N switch has a supply voltage of 250V ac at 2A current, comes with FRS13 housing and a 4m cable, and has 1NC Safety Contact and 1NC Auxiliary Contact. It has a sensing distance of 12mm (Make) to 23mm (Break) and an operating temperature range of -10°C to +65°C.
Note: This device can be used with Guardlink, a new safety linking technology from Allen Bradley GuardMaster. Guardlink simplifies and reduces the connection time of the safety system, whilst providing real-time diagnostic information over an Ethernet IP. This makes it simple to identify the location of the device that has tripped the system, thus reducing downtime and improving the machines overall efficiency.
