This cost-efficient magnetic safety switch offers ease-of-installation and versatility due to its compact size and moulded-in brackets.
The 440N-S32022 Sipha S12 Safety Interlock Switch has 1NC and 1NO Safety Contacts, 1 NC Auxiliary Contact, and a 3m cable. The housing is S1 and made of moulded ABS plastic, in red. It has a sensing distance of 5mm (make), 11mm (break). It is IP67 rated (NEMA 6P), making it fully protected against ingress of dust and highly suitable for use in wet environments as it can withstand temporary immersion in water. The operating temperature range for this switch is -10°C to +55°C (+14° to +131°F). The Auxiliary Contact switching capability is: 300VDC, 250VAC, 0.5A including inrush.
The Sipha Safety Switches feature magnetically sensitive elements which must be activated in a specific sequence to operate correctly, ensuring greater reliability and security for complex applications. They cannot be defeated by a simple magnet. These dependable switches are perfectly suited for use with sliding, hinge, and lift-off safety guards.
