Their cutting edges are shaped to produce a bite type cut. The cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approx. 61 HRC. These pliers are therefore also appreciated for the ability to cut cable as well as soft, medium-hard and even hard wire.

The angled precision tips made of vanadium electric steel are elastic and therefore stable when twisted. The user is easily able to find the right amount of manual force.
