Dry Disconnect fittings are mechanical tools that are used in applications with hazardous liquid. Dry Disconnect
couplings are made using technology that protects the workers and environment where there are hazardous materials. These couplers are made to prevent against accidental spillage of liquids thus suitable for applications with corrosive, caustic, toxic or harmful products.
There are several types of dry disconnect fittings such as;
• Twist -Lok dry disconnect; the twist -Lok provides a secure connection that is easy to use with a very minimal product loss. The dry disconnect fitting boasts a durable construction as it is made of 316 stainless steel. The fitting is fully interlocked for double safety. It is suitable for vacuum servicing.
• Epsilon dry disconnect; This fitting gives the best results in product loss in a factory. It has a tactical balance of which it is unrestricted path flow with also double shut off reliability. This, therefore, makes it the most efficient and safest fitting system in the world. It has no turbulence, lowest fluid loss which is driven by double ball-valve that has been uniquely innovated. For corrosive fluids, critical and aggression, it has a 316 stainless steel construction.
• Kamvalok; this dry disconnect has a unique poppet action OPW kamvalok which enables virtually eliminates the residue liquid that is contained after disconnection of the line. These fittings transport the points in areas where the loss is not acceptable
