Wheel risers are used to position trailers properly onto the deck level for
safety reasons and loading efficiency, and to avoid unnecessary damage to the loading equipment. They are wide chisel-shaped bars that are mostly made of sturdy metallic materials such as steel and aluminum. Wheel risers are used in pairs of two standard sizes of 18"" and 24"". their lengths vary depending on the kind of trailers that are being loaded onto the deck. Types of trailers include single carriage trailers, dual carriage trailers, tandem trailers, and axle trailers. Wheel risers are designed for portable and permanent fixtures. Steel wheel risers (SWR) are intended for both standard and custom sizes and can handle very heavy loads. They can also be used for permanent or portable dock fixtures for loading all kinds of trailers. Aluminum wheel risers are also made of heavy-duty trade plates for maximum traction generation. The surfaces of wheel raisers are treaded to generate maximum friction with the wheels of the trailers.
