Paint rollers are tools for paint application recommended when you want to paint an extensive surface. Unlike the common
painting brush that allows you to only paint surfaces close to where you are, the roller can extend further. The roller is designed with several parts. One, it has a roller cover that is made of absorbent material for holding paint and transferring it to the surface being painted. The roller cover is wound on a cylindrical roller frame that also attaches to a long handle from the center of one end. This makes it easy to roll when applying paint on the surface. The main advantage of paint rollers is that they are able to paint larger areas faster compared to standard brushes. It is also a great option for painting a surface that has not been prepared well. When used well, rollers do not cause smears on the working site. Finally, most of the roller covers used on paint rollers are re-usable.
